Two Men with Little Fear of Making Fools of Themselves
When Brian Carroll and I are playing in Corn Wolves, we have a cast of characters we rely on to rescue us when our musical confidence writes checks that our chops can't cash.
This is not the case with Carroll & Millington Acoustic Adventures. We regularly go out on a limb and saw it off behind ourselves. It's a similar pretense to what we do with Corn Wolves, but with a much smaller cast of characters, and therefore a lot fewer places to hide.
While we like the idea that we're sort of comedy, we both are adequate enough on our instruments to pull off some pretty cool stuff. For example, there was the time we covered The Scorpions "Still Loving You" as a country song sung by Jerry Reed.
Kinda wish we'd gotten that one on record, actually.
